The immensity of Witchcraft and magick;
it does touch on universal qualities
of life and living,
bounded only by heeding the Laws.
Some modes of magick,
there-being more Common and profound,
shall not be at the loss
of that which is Subtle or obscure.

Performing magick is a great undertaking, as it can affect many aspects of life and the surrounding world. As long as the Athiccan Rede is followed, the possibilities of magick are boundless. While it's possible to focus on the broad categories of love, health, and prosperity, there are also more subtle subdivisions like passion, mental well-being, or productivity.
No one type of magick is more powerful than any other. The effectiveness of magick is driven by the focus of the witch but is ultimately administered and managed by Nature.
Purpose of Magick
The first category of magick pertains to the purpose of the working, that being beneficial or baneful. Sometimes referred to as light or dark magick, they encompass opposite objectives.
Beneficial magick
Helpful, empowering, encouraging
Magick that is favorable to a person, situation, or place, in accordance with their permission, is considered to be beneficial magick. This is the primary focus of Athiccan practices. Both constructive and destructive magick can be used to achieve the intended outcome.
Baneful magick
Harmful, restrictive, interfering
Baneful spells are malicious or intrusive and intended to cause harm, such as curses, hexes, or any magick that interferes with a person's free will. In accordance with the Athiccan Rede, these workings are expressly forbidden.

While this list of intents is not exhaustive, it is meant to inspire the possibilities of what magick can be used to achieve. The subject of any class of magick is often a person or a place but can really be anything within Nature.
