Sealing Up Harm
A Binding Spell

When a person's actions are causing personal harm, this spell can bind the energy being sent to you. It is not intended to stop the person (as that would violate the requirement of consent), but it will instead discourage and ground any harm they might do.

Requisites:
Pen and paper
Black pepper
Salt
Gray string
Jar with lid or stopper
Yellow candle
1.
Write the name of the person causing harm on the paper.
Sprinkle black pepper over the person's name.
You are hereforth discouraged from doing me harm.
Sprinkle salt over the person's name.
As all harm you send to me will be grounded.
2.
Fold the paper in an outward widdershins direction.
Tie the folded paper tightly with gray string.
I bind the effects of your harm against me.
3.
Place the paper in a jar.
Add more black pepper and salt.
Close the jar.
4.
Light the yellow candle.
Drip wax over the cover of the jar until completely sealed.
No longer will your harm reach me.
5.
Bury the jar away from the home
(or hide in a dark corner).
I do this for the highest good and harming none.
As I will it, so mote it be.
