A Cord Spell

A Witch's Ladder is a specific type of cord that is meant to work for longer durations. It is never meant to be untied, but rather should be carried or worn to maximize its benefits.
The cord of a Witch's Ladder is always three feet in length.
Its color should coincide with its purpose.
A medallion or other type of decoration is tied into each knot. This is meant to reinforce and hold the power in the cord longer.

Requisites:
Cord, three feet in length (of corresponding color)

Tie each knot in the cord
as the corresponding line is spoken,
keeping the intention of the cord firmly in mind.
(Note the order varies from standard cords.)

By knot of two, it shall be true.
By knot of three, so mote it be.
By knot of four, let power soar.
By knot of five, the spell's alive.
By knot of six, this spell I fix.

By knot of nine, what's done is mine (thine).

As the cord is rubbed or flexed, the power is gradually released.
